The Infinity Ward team shipped Modern Warfare 2 in 2022. The game became the fastest-selling Call of Duty game of all time, earning US$800 million in revenue in its first three days of release, and US$1 billion within 10 days, surpassing the series previous record-holders, 2011's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and 2012's Black Ops II.
Lara joined soon after ship to support the Lighting team through 6 seasons of post-launch content. With diligent planning they turned around:
3 cinematics, 20 new MP maps,
4 Raid Episodes complete with several IGCs each
and additional Warzone and DMZ content such as new areas, reveal event and the Halloween Haunting of Al Mazra event through 9 months of Live Seasons.
In addition to the 2023 Seasonal Content, Lara also supported resource management to allocate lighters to Modern Warfare 3 campaign missions and IGCs.
